The main material in both sound and feel Les Paul Traditional 50s rounded neck profile. Carved out of solid quarter-sawn mahogany Grade-A, this neck string resonance transfer over to the body of a thin neck, while offering, ergonomic palm grip that fills countless players have come to love. Taking all of these sweet tones of the wood to wire is the classic 57 humbucker in the neck position and 57 overwound Classic Plus in the bridge, two pickups Gibson's most popular. They are designed along the lines of vintage PAF-style humbuckers, but rounded off with some added flexibility for contemporary players, thanks to the evenly wound coils and wax pot, giving 57S smooth overdrive tones and exceptional resistance to feedback microphone to scream. Keeping it all tight and sing at the end of the body is a classic pair Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, while the solid Corian nut and Tone Pro Kluson-style tuners do their thing on the headstock.
